Detail
Winter Hood is a warm and practical combination of a neck warmer and hood. It is worked with 1 strand of Heavy Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout, and both flat and in the round.
The front and back pieces are worked back and forth with ribbing around the edges. You then pick up stitches for the hood and work the neck in the round before working and shaping the rest of the hood back and forth in stockinette stitch. The crown is shaped with German short rows and grafted using Kitchener stitch. The Winter Hood is finished with a ribbed face band.Sizes: Child (Teen, Adult)

Got it for my wife who’s always cold outdoors — she loves the warmth but says it slips back too easily during brisk walks. Nice fabric though and definitely cozy

Love how soft and warm it is — perfect for walking my kids to school in Boston winters. Fabric feels genuine and high-quality. Just wish the drawstring had a bit more grip

As a delivery driver in Minnesota, this hood saved me from numb ears and stiff shoulders. Warm and comfortable even at -15°F. The authentic fabric breathes just enough — no clamminess. Fixed [painpoint3] all-day outdoor exposure

Lightweight yet shockingly warm — wore it under my helmet during a snowstorm and stayed toasty the whole ride. Authentic fabric feels durable and soft against skin. Nailed [painpoint2] wind-exposed commutes

Warm and well-made, though the fit runs slightly small for my head size. Still solves my main issue — staying covered while commuting on scooters in freezing temps

Wore it skiing last weekend — no more icy ears or stiff necks. Authentic fabric wicks moisture but keeps heat in. Exactly what I needed for [painpoint1] cold-weather layering

Very comfortable and warm, especially during weekend hikes in the Rockies. Fabric is soft and true to description. Only wish it had a slightly deeper coverage for high winds

Finally found a hood that doesn’t slip off when I’m biking to work — warm, snug, and breathable. The fabric feels premium and holds up after 3 washes. Fixed my drafty-neck issue perfectly
