Recommended needles: Circular needle 2,5 and 3 mm (40 cm) & possibly 60 cm, dpns 2,5 + 3 mm.
Recommended yarn: Knitting for Olive: Merino, Cottonmerino, Pure silk. (meterage 250 m/ 50g)
Gauge: 28 sts x 38 rows in stockinette stitch on needle 3 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
Gorm Dress is classic and timeless. The dress is worked top down in stockinette stitch with long sleeves. At the neck a slit is worked that is closed with a small button. Around the body, a pattern with 3 contrasting colours is worked, using the fair isle technique. Ribbings at the skirt and sleeves are worked, before they are finished with double face and bound off with the italien method. The neckline is shaped with short rows (here: German short rows).
