The Fern Sweater is your everyday sweater for winter days, combining functionality and elegance with none of the bulk of a heavy sweater. It has all the features of a classic cold weather turtleneck sweater, the foldedover collar and the deep edges, but the fabric, knit with the addition of soft, warm Mohair, together with the vertical eyelet lace pattern, give the Fern Sweater a light and airy line, with all the warmth you’ll need for winter.
The sweater is worked with two strands together in the round, seamlessly from the top down, with short-row shaping to lower the front neckline. The overall Fern stitch lace pattern is written out, and easy to memorize.
