Johanne Cardigan is a simple and classic cardigan made for everyday use. It is worked with 1 strand of Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.
Johanne cardigan is worked seamlessly back and forth from the top down in stockinette stitch and features elegant saddle shoulder shaping. Extra-long ribbed cuffs finish the sleeves and give them a subtle balloontype shape. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)

Yarn: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7) balls + 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn, 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) balls. Needles: 3 mm / US2.5, 3.5 mm / US4 and 4.5 mm / US7 circular needles in 80 cm [32”] cable length, 3.5 mm / US4 double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge. In addition: either 3 mm / US2.5 or 4 mm / US6 circular needle depending on chosen cast-on method
Gauge (after blocking): 20 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm [4”] in st st with 4.5 mm / US7 needles
