Eton Slipover is a classic cabled “cricket vest” with a V-neck. The vest is worked from charts and from the top down with 2 strands of Merino held together throughout. You start working the back and front pieces separately back and forth before joining work at underarms. The body is finished in the round with a ribbed hem before picking up stitches for the arm openings and the neckband. Arm openings and the twocolored neckband are both finished in rib.
The cabled stitch pattern is charted only.Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)

Yarn: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9) balls in MC and 1 ball in CC. Sample is in Merino in Cream (MC) and Navy Blue (CC) colorways
Needles: 3.5 mm / US4 and 4.5 mm / US7 circular needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 23 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm [4”] in pattern (Chart G) with 4.5 mm / US7 needles (see page 2 for swatching instructions)
