Christmas Morning Tunic is part of our 2025 Christmas collection. The tunic features little presents with i-cord bows around the bottom of the body. The tunic has a round yoke, a slight A-line shape in the body and straight sleeves. Both body and the sleeves are finished with a folded edge, while the neckline has an i-cord edge that ends up in a bow in the back. Christmas Morning Tunic is worked from the top down using 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.
You start with the i-cord neckband and ties before continuing with the yoke, working back and forth at first to create the keyhole opening. Afterwards, you continue in the round. The neck opening and body are shaped with German short rows. The presents are charted only and worked using the Fair Isle technique and finished with i-cord ties as a separate step.

Yarn: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 4 (5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8) balls in MC, 1 ball in CC1 and 1 ball in CC2 + 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn, 5 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) balls in MC, 1 ball in CC1 and 1 ball in CC2.
