Recommended needles: Double–pointed needles 2,5 mm.
Recommended yarn: Knitting for Olive: Merino, Cotton Merino, (meterage 250 m/ 50g). + leftover green and brown yarn.
Amount of yarn: Approx 22 (26) 30 (34) 38 (42) g (yardage for 2 gloves).Gauge: 32 sts x 45 rows in stockinette stitch on needle 2,5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
Noel Gloves Junior are worked in the round in stockinette stitch from the wrist to the fingertips. A tree is embroidered with simple stitches on the front of the mittens.

Good value & decent fit for my 5yo. Warm enough indoors and on short walks, but not for sub-freezing temps — fingers got chilly after ~15 mins outside in Chicago wind. ⚠️ Still, the style is spot-on and they hold up to washing. Solid 3-star pick for mild winter use. 🧤💙

Disappointed — the left glove ripped at the index finger after just 5 days of light play. 😕 My son’s not rough on gear, and we washed gently. Also, the ‘junior’ sizing runs small — he’s average height/age (9), but they’re tight across the knuckles. Not buying again. ❌
